SIGMA-HR Obtains SAS 70 Certification

The SAS 70 Type II Certification (Statement on Auditing Standards no.70) is an international standard recognized by large corporations. This certification is the result of an in-depth audit performed by an external organization that assesses all of the operations in a company, emphasizing the internal controls that are implemented.

SIGMA-HR obtained the highest level of certification: the Type II. To obtain such a high caliber result, the company first had to describe the controls that were to be performed. Then, the audit was conducted to ensure the company complied with the procedures that were defined. Obtaining this certification confirms the quality of operations and the effectiveness of internal controls at SIGMA-HR. The audit was performed by Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton (LLP).
